Larch terraces
Larch is known for its resistance to moisture, mechanical stress, pests and decay. The density of dry (about 20% moisture) larch lumber is about 730 kg / m³, which is comparable to the density of oak and ash. This is almost twice as much as the density of European spruce or pine (400-500 kg / m³). In addition, in many other parameters, such as flexibility and mechanical strength, larch is comparable to oak and ash. Larch will serve you 2-3 times longer than other coniferous species, without additional chemical treatment, while for other wood species such treatment is mandatory. Thus, larch material does not require antiseptics or impregnation, and it should also be taken into account that due to the high density of larch wood poorly absorbs impregnations.

WPC composite terraces

Our company offers a diverse range of composite decking boards made from WPC. This innovative product is a recent addition to the Latvian market, featuring a durable laminated layer that protects its appearance from harsh weather conditions. Your terrace will maintain a fresh look even after years of use. The material's structure prevents internal deformation and cracking, a common issue with cheaper alternatives. Composite decking boards exhibit five times greater wear resistance, scratch resistance, and longevity compared to traditional wooden decking. They are composed of 60% wood fibers, 30% polyethylene, and 10% chemical additives.

Exotic Wood Materials

Our company offers a diverse range of exotic woods suitable for decking, facade materials, and flooring. Kumaru is recognized as one of the finest wood species globally for decking and facade applications. It is utilized in regions with extreme climatic conditions, from humid tropical areas to the northern territories of Canada and Norway. In all climates, the properties of kumaru surpass those of other commonly used wood species. Kumaru lacks annual growth rings, which contributes to its distinctive fiber texture and enhances its strength and durability. The density of this wood is approximately 1075 kg/m³, significantly higher than that of oak, which is around 700 kg/m³. Kumaru is classified as a premium wood due to its inherent strength, with the first category ensuring a lifespan of at least 50 years without the need for additional preservatives. Kumaru is versatile and finds extensive applications in both commercial and residential buildings. For instance, it is employed in the construction of bridges, including components that come into contact with water or soil.
